Relax under the stars with Handel, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Gershwin, a glass of wine and glorious surroundings at Brisbane Festival 2009’s Symphony at the Shore.
Hamilton's Northshore Riverside Park is the setting for Brisbane’s best free, outdoor classical concert with the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Antoni Bonetti, and special guest Simon Tedeschi - Australia's premier concert pianist.
Wine, beer and an array of delicious food will be on sale from the Northshore Riverside Café, a variety of food stalls and a licensed bar complete this sensual feast. Just bring a picnic blanket and allow yourself to indulge.

Symphony at the Shore is a licensed event. Strictly no BYO alcohol. No glass allowed.
Riverside Park is located beside the Brisbane River and may be windy in the evening, so it is recommended you dress appropriately.
Transport
Access to Northshore Riverside Park is via Macarthur Avenue off Remora Road, Hamilton.
A free shuttle bus will operate every 15 minutes between Hamilton (Bus Stop 20, Racecourse Road opposite the Hamilton Hotel and just a short walk from the City Cat terminal at Brett’s Wharf) and Northshore Riverside Park, between 4.45pm to 6.45pm with return services to Hamilton from Northshore Riverside Park between 9.00pm to 11.00pm. Look out for the Brisbane Festival signage.
