NightOwl Clayfield Wins Award

NightOwl Clayfield franchisees Allan and Jan Woodward know their customer service is top-notch, but now they have the 2011 Customer Service Excellence award to prove it.

The dynamic duo were delighted on Saturday night when they accepted the award at the gala dinner at Jupiters Gold Coast in front of more than 140 NightOwl franchisees, support office staff and business partners from across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

Mr Woodward said he and his staff believed that showing concern for customers and being attentive were paramount to providing excellent service.

"Customer service is not just service, it is the personal experience that each customer has when they visit my store. We make our customers feel valued," he said.

Mr Woodward added customer service was even more important in a tough economic climate.

"In a tough economic climate where customers know the value of a dollar, promotional offerings, product knowledge and efficient transactions are critically important - but recognition and personal engagement make the difference," he said.

NightOwl Franchisor Adam Adams said the 2011 Customer Service Excellence Award was presented to the store that embraced the NightOwl Vision, mission and values.

"NightOwl Clayfield has achieved excellence in store by developing their team through training and education, and has established itself as an employer of choice through its unrivalled commitment to their people," he said.

"Allan and Jan should be extremely proud of their commitment. They are a shining example of what NightOwl franchises are all about."

Mr Adams said the awards ceremony capped off a successful year for the Australian-owned and operated company.

"NightOwl franchisors are a passionate group of people who are the driving force behind the company. The gala awards celebrate their commitment and enthusiasm to ensuring the NightOwl brand thrives," he said.
